Hello, I'm Molly!

My Story

Hello, my name is Molly. I am a 5 year old dachshund from Tallassee, Alabama. My parents got me about two years ago from our local Veterinary Clinic. Before I met my family, I was at the Vet for a long time, waiting for a new home. I was there for a while because no one wanted me. I have a small problem- I only have one eye. See, my last owner brought me to the vet after I got attacked by bigger dog. One day, I was just walking around outside, and I saw a big dog and decided to go over and tell him, "hello". I was just looking at him, when all of a sudden, he bit me in my face. It hurt really badly. My owner took me to the vet to have my eye fixed, but never came back to pay the bill. I don't know where she went or why she didn't come back, but the nice people at the Veterinary Clinic made me better. They took out my hurt eye and after a while, I started feeling much better. I was at the vet for a while, but one day a girl came in looking for a dog just like me. When I saw her, I ran up to her and flipped over on my back so she could rub my tummy. She immediately fell in love with me. She took me home and gave me lots of dog food and cheese. She even makes me clothes. I have 32 outfits! Last year, I even got to dress up as a Lobster for Halloween!
I may only have one eye, but I've got a big heart and lots of love to give.
