Hounds

The breed was originally bred to hunt mammals. They come in many different sizes from large to small depending on what size prey they were bred to hunt.

There are two breed types:

• Scent
• Sight

Sense their prey by smell and run them into a corner or up a tree trapping them and bark untill their master arrives. It is known that they can be difficult to train because of their sensitive noses that often distracts them.

Sight

Bred and trained to spot their prey and chase it until it is exhausted. Breeds in this class have existed for thousands of years and are known to be a very elegant dog.
