Are we there yet?

Are we there yet?

In Memory of Buster Brown my loyal companion

Buster Brown was my loyal dog and he was like my child. Im in great disbelief and grief that I cannot even describe, its almost as if my heart has been ripped from my chest .

Buster Brown passed on April 27, 2008 at 11:00pm by a hit and run driver in my neighborhood in front of his family. He didn't suffer and died instantly at impact... He died of internal injuries. He looked so peaceful and damn it is so hard writing this.... but I have to so here is a little about my Best Friend, Buster Brown :

Buster Brown was the kind of dog who would run to the window and look out when he heard me drive up to my home and greet me in hugs, dancing and kisses every time we met. He was a great watch dog and protected those he knew, loved to play and was so good when it came to bathtime! All I had to say was lets take a bath and he'd go jump in the tub and sit by the facuet and loved when I blow dried him. I'd always call him a "good boy" during this bonding time and then once I opened the dorr he would run throughout the house and want me to chase him and play unitl I'd give him a treat, then he'd do his happy dance.

Every night at almost ten o'clock he'd let me know it was bed time and just stare at me until I said, Okay let's go to bed and he'd climb under the covers of my bed and would curl up close to me and fall asleep while I rubbed his belly with my feet until I fell asleep. In the morning he'd crawl to me and lick my face as to say, good morning mommy. Then we'd take our morning potty walk.

Buster was always by my side. He would sit on the couch close to me and watch tv and traveled eveywhere I went as most of you know. If I was there he was there too.

Buster Brown was intelligen t, well trained, loved the beach, doggie park, cats and good people especially children.

He knew how to sit, move back, come and stay all by my hand command and verbal commands. He was such a brillant dog.

Every one LOVED BUSTER!!!

All I can do now is remember the joy he brought into my life, and all the good memories he made with my family and to so many people who grew to love my best friend.

Buster Brown brought me SO MUCH joy and happiness these past four years and filled them with endless memories to look back on, he will be GREATLY missed.

To my Buster Brown :
I know that in an instant you were taken from me up to Doggie heaven and I can see you running freely, playi ng with your friends and as you look down you can see me smiling back at you. ... Even though we are far we are not far, you will always be carried within my heart.

Mommy loves you Buster Brown always, you are a one of a kind dog and I thank God for bringing you into my life for the time we had together.

Goodbye B.

Until we met again
Love Your Mommy
