Their coat is thick and dense and the color is black or black with grey hairs. They are 25 to 29 inches tall and weigh between 80 to 143 pounds depending on gender. The BRT is confident, intelligent, brave and loyal. They will defend their family if it thinks they are threatened. They are dominent by nature and require confident owners for training. BRT's are an excellent choice for a family pet. Although rare to see outside of their home country they are recently becoming more recognized.
